Steve is a practicing Structural Engineer with extensive experience in the design, construction and value engineering of building structures. He also has extensive experience with structural investigations, forensic analysis and expert technical advisory for litigation. He has over twenty years of experience in his profession, and has distinguished himself through his technical expertise, simple approach to problem solving and personal integrity. He has provided conceptual and schematic level design consultation, as well as value engineering and conductibility review, for large-scale building projects throughout the world. He has also investigated numerous structural failures, and has provided expert testimony as well as technical advisory for attorneys.
Steve is also and innovator and inventor. He currently holds five US Patents in his field, and continually develops new technologies for use in structural design and the construction industry. He has the unique ability to bring a practical hands-on approach to solving problems that allows him to invent simple and practical solutions for even the most complex engineering and construction challenges.
Steve is also a designer. He creates functional artwork that reflects his passion for structural beauty and simplicity. Believing that good design should be ubiquitous, his works are often inspired by his technical solutions to large scale Engineering challenges.
Steve earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering, Magna Cum Laude, from Clarkson University, and his Master of Science in Structural Engineering from Polytechnic University. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the states of New York, New Jersey, Texas, Florida and California, as well as a Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) in the state of California.
